Clinical Privacy Policy & HIPAA Information

Last updated: September 2, 2026

1. Scope & Commitment to HIPAA Standards

At Neuregen Scottsdale LLC, we understand that medical and psychiatric information is highly sensitive. We are fully committed to protecting your privacy and managing Protected Health Information (PHI) in strict alignment with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996, the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act, and applicable Arizona medical privacy laws.

2. Collection of Protected Health Information (PHI)

When you engage with our clinical pre-screeners, submit digital intake forms, book consultations, or submit symptoms via our AI Representative, we collect information that qualifies as PHI. This includes: full name, contact details (phone, email, geographic location), demographic info (age), specific diagnostic history, current medications, symptom descriptions, and preferred consultation timelines.

3. Data Security, Transmission and Encryption

All data transmitted through our web application is encrypted in transit using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL/TLS) with AES-256 equivalent cryptographic protocols. Your submitted digital triage information, clinical messages, and diagnostic assessments are immediately processed and saved in a highly secure, restricted database environment. Only authorized clinical staff are granted access, under strict role-based access control (RBAC) protocols.

4. Digital Assistant, Chat Logs & AI Safety

To help answer clinic logistics questions quickly, Neuregen employs a clinical AI Representative. All inputs provided to the AI assistant are securely processed on private server infrastructure. Under no circumstances is your PHI, private chat history, or diagnostic assessment log sold, rented, or distributed to third-party advertising networks. Chat histories are kept confidential and are used solely to contextualize your upcoming medical evaluation with our clinical team.

5. Patient Privacy Rights

Under HIPAA and Arizona laws, you possess legal rights regarding your Protected Health Information. This includes the right to request a digital copy of your clinical records, request corrections to inaccurate clerical details, request that we restrict how your personal contact info is utilized for outreach, or request the absolute deletion of your non-medical contact entries. To exercise these rights, please call our office at 866-999-1177.

6. Non-Disclosure to Third Parties

Neuregen does not share or disclose your personal data or PHI with any external third parties for marketing purposes. Your information is only disclosed to healthcare providers directly involved in your coordinated medical care, your authorized insurance company (via your requested superbill), or as explicitly required by state or federal medical disclosure laws.
