Start with what life feels like now
What should you ask about early memory changes?
We help people with memory changes that affect life at home by evaluating their needs with their family so that they can plan support around the activities and relationships that matter.
How we look at the whole picture
Conversations repeat. Familiar routines take more effort. You may be noticing changes in yourself or someone you love.
You want to understand what is happening and what you can do next as a family.
You do not need to know which treatment to ask for. Start with what has changed and what you want to be able to do again.
The 7 Domains of Recovery™
Your symptoms may belong in the same conversation.
Memory changes need a careful evaluation. The seven-domain approach also considers function, sleep, energy, emotional health, physical needs and the support available at home.
Neuregen's proprietary 7 Domains of Recovery framework organizes that conversation around seven connected parts of your life and health. We consider all seven, then focus the evaluation on the questions your history raises.
Explore our clinical framework- 1Brain function & neural networks
What has changed in your memory, concentration, balance or sensory tolerance?
- 2Autonomic & nervous system regulation
What happens when you stand, move, rest or encounter stress?
- 3Immune function & neuroinflammation
What immune history, reactions or symptoms need a closer look?
- 4Brain energy & metabolic health
What affects your energy through the day and after activity?
- 5Structure, stability & body-to-brain signals
How do pain, posture, movement and stability affect what you can do?
- 6Psychological flexibility & behavioral recovery
How are mood, stress and patterns of coping affecting your day?
- 7Life, relationships & environment
What demands, relationships and support shape your recovery?
A plan starts with the things you want to do again.
We review the timeline, daily function, previous assessments and family concerns. We discuss what further evaluation could clarify and agree on priorities for support and follow-up.
01
Tell us what you want your life to look like
We start with what has changed, what you have tried, and the activities you most want to return to.
02
Answer the questions the history leaves open
We review prior reports and select relevant assessments. You should understand what each assessment is meant to clarify.
03
Agree on the priorities and the first steps
We discuss the findings, possible approaches, costs and practical constraints. The plan sets an order that fits your situation.
04
Check what changes and adjust together
We compare your response with the starting point, including daily function. If something is not helping, we discuss what needs to change.
Only then do we discuss which therapies, if any, belong in your plan. The choice depends on the findings, the evidence, your preferences and how you respond.

Testing, baseline assessment, and monitoring -- for people who want to act early

Who this pathway is for
Three groups benefit from an early evaluation at Neuregen: individuals who have received a diagnosis of Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and want a comprehensive biological workup; people in early stages of Alzheimer's disease who want to act before decline progresses; and individuals with a family history or personal memory concerns who want to understand their cognitive baseline. The evaluation approach differs by group, and we are explicit about what is appropriate for each.
What an early-stage evaluation includes
For patients with an MCI or early Alzheimer's diagnosis, Neuregen's evaluation maps the multi-domain biological picture: cognitive baseline profiling (Domain 1), brain energy and metabolic health markers (Domain 4), and a review of prior neurologic workup. We coordinate with the existing care team and recommend standard diagnostics where they have not yet been completed.
- Cognitive baseline profiling to identify network gaps
- Brain energy and metabolic health assessment
- Review of prior neuroimaging, laboratory, and neurologic workup
- Referral coordination for standard neurologic assessment
For people who are worried, not yet diagnosed
Memory concerns and family history are not diagnoses. Neuregen's pathway for this group is limited to evaluation and monitoring -- establishing a cognitive baseline, identifying biological factors that may affect cognition, and building a framework for ongoing assessment. No treatment plan is recommended until a clinical picture supports it and our medical review is complete.
Why acting early can matter
The biological domains that Neuregen evaluates -- brain function and neural networks, brain energy and metabolism, immune regulation, and environmental context -- can show measurable change before significant cognitive decline occurs. Building a baseline early allows changes to be tracked, modifiable factors to be addressed, and clinical decisions to be made from a richer picture. This is not a treatment promise; it is the clinical case for early evaluation.

Questions about this topic
What is Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI)?
MCI is a stage of cognitive change that is noticeable but does not significantly interfere with daily function -- a condition that carries some risk of progressing to Alzheimer's disease in some individuals. It is formally diagnosed by a neurologist or physician. Neuregen's evaluation can complement a formal MCI workup but does not replace it.
Can Neuregen evaluate someone who has not been formally diagnosed?
Yes. The evaluation pathway for individuals who are concerned about memory or family history is focused on baseline assessment and monitoring -- not treatment claims. A Strategy Consultation with our clinical team is the starting point to determine whether an evaluation is appropriate.
Does Neuregen offer preventive treatment for people who are worried?
No treatment plan is recommended for individuals who do not yet have a diagnosis or who do not have a clinical picture that supports one. Neuregen's early-stage pathway is evaluation, baseline assessment, and monitoring.
What happens if an evaluation reveals something concerning?
We review the findings with the patient and, with consent, with the referring care team. Standard neurologic workup -- neuroimaging, specialist consultation -- is coordinated and referred where appropriate.
