Start with what life feels like now

How can families compare Alzheimer’s treatment options?

We help people with memory changes that affect life at home by evaluating their needs with their family so that they can plan support around the activities and relationships that matter.

How we look at the whole picture
Illustrative portrait of an older woman and a younger family member sitting together outside.

Conversations repeat. Familiar routines take more effort. You may be noticing changes in yourself or someone you love.

You want to understand what is happening and what you can do next as a family.

You do not need to know which treatment to ask for. Start with what has changed and what you want to be able to do again.

The 7 Domains of Recovery™

Your symptoms may belong in the same conversation.

Memory changes need a careful evaluation. The seven-domain approach also considers function, sleep, energy, emotional health, physical needs and the support available at home.

Neuregen's proprietary 7 Domains of Recovery framework organizes that conversation around seven connected parts of your life and health. We consider all seven, then focus the evaluation on the questions your history raises.

Explore our clinical framework
  1. 1Brain function & neural networks

What has changed in your memory, concentration, balance or sensory tolerance?

  2. 2Autonomic & nervous system regulation

What happens when you stand, move, rest or encounter stress?

  3. 3Immune function & neuroinflammation

What immune history, reactions or symptoms need a closer look?

  4. 4Brain energy & metabolic health

What affects your energy through the day and after activity?

  5. 5Structure, stability & body-to-brain signals

How do pain, posture, movement and stability affect what you can do?

  6. 6Psychological flexibility & behavioral recovery

How are mood, stress and patterns of coping affecting your day?

  7. 7Life, relationships & environment

What demands, relationships and support shape your recovery?

A plan starts with the things you want to do again.

We review the timeline, daily function, previous assessments and family concerns. We discuss what further evaluation could clarify and agree on priorities for support and follow-up.

  1. 01

Tell us what you want your life to look like

We start with what has changed, what you have tried, and the activities you most want to return to.

  2. 02

Answer the questions the history leaves open

We review prior reports and select relevant assessments. You should understand what each assessment is meant to clarify.

  3. 03

Agree on the priorities and the first steps

We discuss the findings, possible approaches, costs and practical constraints. The plan sets an order that fits your situation.

  4. 04

Check what changes and adjust together

We compare your response with the starting point, including daily function. If something is not helping, we discuss what needs to change.

Only then do we discuss which therapies, if any, belong in your plan. The choice depends on the findings, the evidence, your preferences and how you respond.

Alzheimer's Treatment Options

Established medicine where it works. Emerging medicine where it makes sense. Rehabilitation throughout.

Established medicine -- what conventional care offers

Evidence: Establishedfor symptomatic medications and FDA-approved anti-amyloid therapies in eligible patients

Conventional Alzheimer's care includes symptomatic medications and, for appropriate early-stage patients, FDA-approved anti-amyloid antibodies such as lecanemab and donanemab that your neurologist may discuss. These are established options within specific eligibility criteria; Neuregen is not a source for them. For patients and families navigating these choices, we can help contextualize the options within a broader care picture.

Where Neuregen fits -- complementary, not competing

Neuregen's program is not positioned as an alternative to conventional care -- it is positioned alongside it. The value is in addressing what standard single-specialty management may not cover: the multi-domain biological picture that includes brain energy, metabolic function, neural network rehabilitation, and environmental and caregiver factors. These are not in competition with pharmaceutical management; they are the context in which pharmaceutical management works or fails to work.

Albumin-based plasma exchange within the broader plan

Evidence: ModerateFor the studied albumin-replacement protocol in mild-to-moderate Alzheimer’s; further confirmation is needed.

Plasma exchange with albumin replacement has moderate evidence for slowing decline in mild-to-moderate Alzheimer’s disease. AMBAR found less decline in daily function; its overall cognitive result favored treatment but did not meet the conventional statistical-significance threshold. This remains a developing approach, not an established standard of care. Rehabilitation, metabolic support and caregiver needs are considered alongside medical treatment.

How a treatment plan is built

No treatment is recommended before we review your history. The Strategy Consultation is where that process begins; a full medical review follows for candidates who are a clinical fit. Plans are personalized -- no two patients with Alzheimer's disease receive an identical protocol.

Each topic on this page fits into a sequenced care plan built around your biology. See how Neuregen builds your plan.

Questions about this topic

Does Neuregen offer lecanemab or donanemab?

No. Lecanemab and donanemab are FDA-approved anti-amyloid antibodies that your neurologist manages. Neuregen's program is complementary to that care, not a source for those medications.

Can I receive Neuregen's program while already on Alzheimer's medications?

In most cases, yes -- but we review your current medications and medical history before recommending any therapy. No treatment plan is set without that review.

What evidence level does Neuregen assign to its Alzheimer's therapies?

Neuregen explains evidence using five levels: Strong, Moderate, Emerging, Preliminary, and Investigational. Conventional symptomatic management is established; AMBAR-informed TPE is emerging. Every therapy offered in the Alzheimer's program is labeled at the appropriate evidence level.
